Entry Level Accountant

We are currently seeking an Entry-Level Accountant to join our NYC office. The position is responsible for accounts payable functions as well as general accounting functions. With over 138 years of experience, H&H is a trusted full-service infrastructure engineering firm. Responsibilities ? Maintain petty cash accounts and log all outgoing disbursements ? Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including preparation of and posting journal entries ? Oversee accounts payable transactions ? Support the month-end close process, including the preparation of account reconciliations ? Collaborate with team members for interim and year-end audit ? Perform other duties and special projects as needed ? Support compliance with financial, GAAP standards, and company policies Requirements ? Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or a related field ? Zero to six years of relevant experience ? Attention to detail, strong problem-solving and communication skills ? Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel ? Self-motivated, dependable with deadlines; able to multi-task ? Knowledge of Deltek Vantagepoint (preferred)

Benefits
