North Florida Pain Specialists is looking for a Medical Receptionist to handle check-in, check-out, scheduling, and patient communication. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and professional experience. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, experience in a medical office setting, and the ability to manage a high call volume. We are seeking someone who is looking to grow with our practice and be a key part of our team?s long-term success. Responsibilities: ? Greet and check in patients, verify insurance, and collect co-pays. ? Schedule and confirm patient appointments. ? Process check-out, including collecting payments and scheduling follow-ups. ? Handle high-volume phone calls and respond to patient inquiries. ? Verify insurance coverage and assist with prior authorizations as needed. ? Maintain accurate patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance. ? Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient flow. Requirements: ? Prior front desk or medical receptionist experience (pain management or specialty clinic preferred). ? Experience handling insurance verifications, referrals, and authorizations is a plus. ? Strong organizational and multitasking skills. ? Excellent communication and customer service skills. ? Ability to remain professional in a fast-paced environment.
