Summary

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc., makers of Yellawood brand Pressure Treated Pine, has an opening for a Security Agent. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and a full benefits package. Essential Duties: ? Perform all functions of the role related to GSWP personnel and assets as well as the family and assets of CEO and Founder, Mr. James W. Rane. ? Develop a professional relationship with GSWP leadership, staff, customer base, local law enforcement, and the Abbeville community. ? Perform duties with 24/7 availability, according to shift assignment or as needed. Never abandon post. ? Successful completion of a prescribed emergency medicine course. ? Be prepared to provide advanced lifesaving techniques in the event of an emergency. ? Ensure vehicles are in clean and safe operating conditions and assure the Central Operations Center (COC) is neat and professional in appearance at all times. ? Professionally and attentively monitor all alarms, cameras, drones, mail scanning equipment, and other technical equipment. ? Assure the proper response is professionally and quickly made to all alarms, suspicious camera activity, or verbal request. ? Assure all equipment is tested and in good working order each shift. ?
