? *About the Team:** The Independent Evaluation Group (IEG) is a key part of the World Bank Group, responsible for assessing the relevance, efficacy, and efficiency of World Bank Group operational policies, programs, and activities. As a member of the IEG team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of experts from around the world who are passionate about making a positive impact on development outcomes. ? *Responsibilities Include:** ? Leading and participating in complex evaluations that assess the effectiveness of private sector and financial sector development initiatives. ? Providing technical guidance and oversight to ensure high-quality evaluation outputs that inform decision-making and improve outcomes. ? Collaborating with colleagues across the organization to ensure alignment with the World Bank Group's strategic priorities and objectives. ? *Requirements:** ? Master's or PhD degree in a relevant field, such as economics, finance, or international development. ? Minimum 12 years of experience in private sector development, financial sector analysis, or a related field, preferably in a multilateral development bank context. ?
