Medicaid Housing Administrator

Description: • Builds strategic collaborative relationships with state agencies, provider groups, community-based organizations, and state housing entities across Florida • Leverages relationships to support Medicaid members with housing insecurities • Works directly with Aetna Better Health of Florida members and community stakeholders to address housing needs • Develops policies and procedures for supporting member access to Florida permanent supportive housing • Provides training and education to both internal staff and external stakeholders in Florida • Supports Care Management & Utilization Management staff when complex needs are identified • Attends and supports health plan rounds • Collaborates with the RFP team for State RFP requests and renewals Requirements: • 5 or more years of experience in Medicaid, managed health care • Minimum of (2) years’ experience in assisting the elderly and persons with disabilities to secure accessible, affordable housing through Federal (such as HUD, Shelter Plus Care, SAMHSA, and USDA), as well as local programs • Must be a resident of Florida (Miami or surrounding areas) Benefits: • Affordable medical plan options • 401(k) plan (including matching company contributions) • Employee stock purchase plan • No-cost programs for all colleagues including wellness screenings, tobacco cessation, and weight management programs • Confidential counseling and financial coaching • Benefit solutions including paid time off, flexible work schedules, family leave, dependent care resources, colleague assistance programs, tuition assistance, retiree medical access and many other benefits depending on eligibility.
