Senior PHP Full Stack Developer - history in logistics fedex or ups - Contract to Hire

Developer Needed: Part-Time to Full-Time Opportunity We’re looking for a skilled developer to join our team and help design, develop, and maintain software that integrates with leading platforms like ShipStation, FedEx API, UPS API, FedEx EDI, and UPS EDI. We’re not looking for a ChatGPT developer—we need someone who can dive into the codebase, troubleshoot bugs, and develop solutions to complex problems. Key Responsibilities: Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable applications using PHP frameworks like Symfony or Laravel. Design and implement robust API integrations with logistics platforms (e.g., ShipStation, FedEx, UPS) to automate workflows. Create and maintain integrations with EDI systems for invoicing and data exchange (e.g., FedEx EDI, UPS EDI). Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges, including API/EDI connectivity and data processing issues. Collaborate with the team to define and uphold architectural standards, best practices, and coding guidelines. Maintain and manage code repositories with tools like Git, ensuring efficient version control and collaboration. Stay updated with industry trends, particularly in logistics software, API standards, and EDI systems. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience writing PHP code. Strong experience with PHP frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel. Proven expertise in third-party API integrations (SOAP, REST, JSON). Experience with EDI systems and protocols, particularly FedEx EDI and UPS EDI, is a strong plus. Familiarity with W3C standards and cross-browser compatibility.
