Commercial Liability Claims Trainer - Houston, TX or Lakeland, FL Salary: $84,050 - $120,950 Salary - negotiable commensurate with experience We are currently looking for someone to join our team as a Commercial Liability Claims Trainer. As a Commercial Liability Claims Trainer., the candidate will conduct classroom training for new and current associates. The ideal candidate will develop and recommend curriculum changes for casualty and liability roles. In overseeing the classroom, you will be responsible for reviewing student progress and reporting on each student's skills and development. If additional training is needed, you will make sound recommendations based on test results and personal evaluations. Prior casualty/liability or injury training experience required. Requirements:

  • Commercial Trucking Liability and Casualty Claims Experience Required - 2 years minimum
  • Commercial Trucking Liability and Casualty Training Experience Preferred
  • Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information
  • Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Must be able to work out of the Houston or Lakeland office

Under the general supervision of the Regional AVP Claims, ORGANIZES and CONDUCTS training programs for the Regional Claims Liability areas. Essential Functions: 1. INSTRUCTS/TEACHES/COORDINATES claims training programs through the highest level of liability claims personnel to include claims processing system. 2. IDENTIFIES and ASSISTS in the development, designing and writing of claims training programs at the direction of the H.O. Claims Training Director. 3. REVIEWS students; progress and REPORTS on each student's skills development. RECOMMENDS continued employment/training of students based on test results and personal evaluation. 4. MAINTAINS and REPORTS to AVP on Pre & Post school preparation and performance. 5. REVIEWS claim performance results. 6. REVIEWS and EVALUATES the effectiveness of Regional Claims training and reports results to H.O. Claims Director. 7. ADHERES to the Code of Conduct, company policies, and operating principles. 8. MEETS attendance standard at business location, to perform necessary job functions and to facilitate interaction with subordinates and management.
