In this role, you will drive sales growth by providing packaging solutions to suppliers within the Mid-West territory. To accomplish this, you will focus on developing new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. You will inherit all existing clients in the territory, consisting of some of the client’s largest accounts, but will be expected to hunt for new clients 60%-70% of the time. Beyond the bullets, our client is looking for a self-starter with great communication skills and a drive to be successful. To thrive in this role, you must have experience in Packaging Industry sales and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the Mid-West region
  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends and opportunities
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to management
  • Attend industry trade shows and events to network and generate leads
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3+ years of Outside Sales experience required
  • 3+ years of Business development (hunting for new clients) experience required
  • 3+ years of Packaging Industry Sales experience required
  • Flexible Packaging experience required
  • Willingness to travel within the territory 4-6 days per month required
