This role involves performing takeoffs, assisting in estimating project costs, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing construction projects.
• Perform takeoffs and aid in estimating project costs.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports.
• Identify and resolve issues that arise during the construction process.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Essential Skills

• 1+ year of experience as an Assistant Project Manager in commercial construction.
• Experience in performing takeoffs.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in construction management software.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Sage software is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
