Job title: Medical Billing Revenue Cycle Trip Intake Data Entry Representative in West Plains, MO at Rural Metro Fire Company: Rural Metro Fire Job description: Job DescriptionMedical Billing – Revenue Cycle – Trip Intake – Data Entry Representative (Part-Time)Hourly Pay: $16/hrLocation: Remote or On-SiteTraining and Work Schedule: Mo-Fr, 5 hrs/day between 8am and 5pm CentralPart-Time 25 hrs/wk, overtime as required up to 29 hrs/wkJOB SUMMARYThe Medical Billing Revenue Cycle Trip Intake Data Entry Representative works within the Trip Intake Team to enter the base rate, loaded miles, and wait time charges into the Billing System.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

• Apply appropriate base rate mileage charges into billing system
• Apply appropriate wait time charges to billing system
• Accurately assign account to next department
• Ensure all accounts are worked correctly to allow distribution to the floor in a timely manner
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONSRequired Experience:

• Six (6) months data entry experience
• Ability to pay close attention to details and find discrepancies in data
• Basic skills with Microsoft Excel including ability to use function for sums
• Experience with downloading documents from websites and accessing the documents downloaded

• Ability to type description of steps taken into billing system
• Ability to gather data, compile information, and apply data entry steps accurately to accounts

Preferred Education:

• High school diploma
• GED
• Or significant, relevant work experience
