Job title: Paid Media Specialist (Freelance/Fractional/Contract) in Portland, OR at RockLove Jewelry Company: RockLove Jewelry Job description: Do you enjoy having full control over Social Campaigns — from creative concepting to execution and optimization — and partner closely with our small, creative team?We’re are seeking a freelance or fractional Paid Media Specialist to lead our social advertising efforts. This is a project-based, long-term engagement (not full-time or part-time employment) and ideal for someone currently freelancing or consulting with other clients.We create jewelry that celebrates identity, storytelling, and the characters we love, including Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, and more — and we’re looking for a skilled Paid Media Specialist to help us grow that mission.Engagement details:

• Monthly retainer based on an agreed hourly bucket
• Remote work with flexible scheduling
• Rate based on experience and impact

What You’ll Do

• Plan and execute full-funnel paid social campaigns (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.)
• Own targeting, copywriting, ad creative input, and budget pacing
• Monitor performance and adjust in real time based on KPIs, inventory, and seasonality
• Collaborate on new creative ideas tailored to fandom audiences
• Scale and optimize monthly budgets between $20K–$50K+
• Report regularly on results and provide strategic recommendations
• Work within brand and licensing guidelines to create effective ads

Must-Haves

• Reside in the U.S.
• End-to-end experience managing paid media campaigns
• Strong copywriting and creative instincts
• Experience with medium-to-large budgets ($20K+ monthly)
• Interest in or understanding of fandom culture
• Works independently but thrives in collaborative teams
• Not currently working with a competing product or brand
• Experience with Shopify, GA4, and Ad Managers (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.)
• Availability during key sales dates and during the holiday season

Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with Klaviyo, Later Social, and other email and social media management tools
• Experience using influencer or UGC content in paid campaigns
