Mosquito Hunters of Cedar Park - Leander - Georgetown is a newly established, innovative pest control company in North Austin. We seek a customer-focused, responsible, detail-oriented technician (and some preferred sales experience) to join our team. The technician will perform inspections, identify pest infestations, implement pest control solutions, and provide preventative recommendations to customers. In addition to performing pest control services, this role involves promoting our services, identifying opportunities to upsell additional treatments, and expanding our customer base.Technician Responsibilities:
- Arrive as scheduled for all scheduled work days (might need to work on Saturday due to rainy days)
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial outdoor/indoor properties to identify pest infestations.
- Develop and implement effective pest control treatments tailored to each customer's needs.
- Safely handle and apply pest control chemicals and equipment according to company and regulatory guidelines.
- Educate customers on preventative measures and pest control solutions.
- Maintain detailed service records and ensure compliance with all safety protocols.
- Operate and maintain pest control equipment and vehicles.
- Make recommendations to clients
- Ensure you have all the necessary marketing materials in the van at the start of your day.
- When in contact with clients, always establish the value that we provide.
- Encourage the client to give you an online Google review.
- If the Client is receiving an introductory treatment, encourage the Client to sign up for a season’s worth of treatments.
- Ask the Client for referrals.
- Drop off marketing materials at neighboring locations/properties.
- Whenever possible, identify potential upsell opportunities.
- No prior experience is necessary
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a valid driver's license
- Be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs
- Be hardworking & reliable
- Possess excellent communication & customer service skills
- Be comfortable working independently
- Autonomy
- Pay starts at $18 per hour (commensurate based on experience and license) and bonuses
- End of Season Performance Bonus - $250 (plus $250 on return next season, if applicable)
- Review Bonus (per 5 Stars Google review - must mention the technician name) - $25
- New customer account - % of sales (paid out monthly for the 1st year)
- Upsell to existing customers - % of sales (paid out monthly for the 1st year)
- Referral Bonus (per technician referred) - $250 when hired and employed 30 days
