Job Overview We are looking for a committed and empathetic Part-Time Virtual Special Education Teacher for the 2024-2025 academic year. Key Responsibilities  IEP Development: Collaborate with families and specialists to formulate and oversee Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives tailored to each student's distinct requirements.  Progress Monitoring: Consistently assess student progress and deliver detailed reports that emphasize their accomplishments and areas for growth.  Caseload Management: Oversee a caseload of 10-15 students, ensuring each receives individualized attention and support.  Collaboration: Partner with an onsite paraprofessional to facilitate instructional processes and provide direct student assistance. Required Skills  Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.  Proficient in effectively working remotely while coordinating with onsite support staff.  Experience in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and working with students who have varied learning needs. Qualifications  Must possess a valid Arizona Special Education Teaching Certificate.  A Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related discipline is required.  Previous experience with students who have diverse learning needs is preferred.  Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
