Job Type: Part-Time, Fully Remote (4-Month Internship, 10 Hours/Week) About Us: Need Eye Exam, PLLC is an eye clinic dedicated to improving accessibility and affordability of eye care services for underserved populations. Through innovative solutions and meaningful partnerships, we aim to address healthcare disparities and promote health equity in our communities. Position Overview: This internship a volunteer position, it is designed to provide a meaningful and educational experience for individuals interested in grant writing, public health, and healthcare innovation. As a Grant Writing Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in grant proposal development while working closely with a experienced researcher who will guide and support you throughout the internship. This internship is an educational opportunity. The focus is on skill-building, mentorship, and professional development, making it ideal for students or recent graduates. Duration and Time Commitment: • Length: 4 months (16 weeks) • Hours: Approximately 10 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to accommodate academic or personal commitments. Key Responsibilities: Under the supervision of a mentor, you will: • Conduct research and gather relevant data to support grant proposals. • Identify and evaluate grant opportunities aligned with the organization’s mission and objectives. • Assist in drafting, formatting, and editing grant proposals. • Track and report on the status of grant applications, including follow-up and reporting requirements. • Learn to develop budgets required for grant applications.
