We are currently hiring a Lead Creative Strategist to manage our team of Creative Strategists & Copywriters. You’d be managing a team of 5. Mission: We create ads for social media to help brands generate results. Vision: We deliver high-quality work on time for brands we love. To be successful in this role, you must show immense attention to detail, process, & organization. Determination and a boundless eagerness to learn and contribute to help manage each project's specific requirements and specifications. Having experience in or familiarity with social media advertising-related tasks is a major plus. What you'll do: Lead the Creative Strategy Team that sets the tone and vision for each client's set of ads. This role is leading a team that is equally 50% creative strategy, 50% copywriting. The ideal candidate will be able to intuitively grasp a brand's goals, and deliver beginning-to-end creative strategy and ad creative production for DTC brands. Your job is cultivating creativity with performance in mind while overseeing their work and end deliverables. Key Responsibilities Creative Strategy Team Management (70%) Mentoring, coaching, and supporting your existing team of amazing creative strategists & copywriters: • Assigning & managing workload, reviewing their work, advising on communications, and providing feedback so we all continue to learn and grow • First line of support with roadblocks, tricky scenarios that don’t quite fall in line with our SOPs • Facilitating weekly department meetings to review key projects, priorities, ongoing internal documentation, & process improvement • Scheduling and leading 1:1s monthly with each individual to ensure their careers, skills, and work happiness are monitored and developed • Meeting with the leadership team frequently to report on key client issues, process improvements, internal projects, capacity + hiring planning Creative Research, Strategy and Scriptwriting (30%) You will work on a couple of key projects. This is to ensure you fully understand our industry, process, and can be hands on to best support your team members and continuously update and enhance our SOPs and communicate across departments & with the leadership team. • First and foremost, you will be obsessed with all things social. You’ll be constantly reviewing the latest trends in social to ensure Creative Milkshake ads are ahead of the curve. We like to be distinctive and want to ensure we stay that way. • You’ll have a proven track record of being a creative social media specialist, delivering successful creative content geared towards customer acquisition KPIs (CAC/CPA & ROAS) • Some relevant hands-on experience designing video ads for direct response campaigns would be great. • We are the best in the game, so it's important you have an appetite for driving results and solving problems. You’ll be driven to be creative, and confident in writing briefs. • You’ll have experience in social media analysis including A/B testing, and you’ll have experience implementing a test-and-learn approach to creative design. Requirements • Experience or desire to manage a team • 3-5+ years experience at a marketing agency or similar fast-paced environment • Remote work experience is highly preferred • You’ll have exceptional copywriting, communication, and attention to detail-skill sets that demonstrate your ability to communicate effectively. • Understanding of conversion-based, direct response copywriting, proofing, and storytelling for short-form paid social • SUPER communicator.
