Job Overview Join us as an Adjunct Pharmacy Technician Instructor, where you will have the unique opportunity to significantly influence the educational pathways of aspiring pharmacy technicians. Your expertise will support our mission to deliver transformative online learning experiences that empower students to reach their professional aspirations. Key Responsibilities • Conduct assigned courses within the Pharmacy Technician program. • Facilitate engaging bi-weekly live sessions via Zoom for each course. • Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate office hours and individual student meetings, ensuring personalized support. • Provide prompt and constructive feedback on assessments, quizzes, and projects, guiding students in their learning journey. • Actively engage with at-risk students to offer mentorship and improve their academic success. • Maintain precise records of student performance, including progress and attendance, and submit final grades in accordance with university policies. • Participate in faculty meetings, training programs, and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching methodologies and stay current with industry trends. • Execute other duties as assigned in alignment with faculty responsibilities and university guidelines. Required Skills • Strong written and verbal communication abilities. • Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering effective relationships in both individual and group settings. • Ability to collaborate efficiently within a team environment to achieve departmental objectives. • Proficiency in virtual tools and software such as MS Office, Canvas, Cvue, Gmail, Zoom, and more. Qualifications • An Associate degree in a health-related field is preferred. • PTCB Certification is mandatory. • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on pharmacy technician experience is required; experience with sterile compounding is advantageous. • Previous online teaching experience is preferred but not essential.
