We're building our team and are looking for a creative Customer Service Representative! Part-time $13/hr! We have an opening at our office in Remote. About the position As a Customer Service Representative, you will work from home and have the flexibility to set your own schedule while assisting patients and caregivers in self-directed Medicaid programs. Your role will involve answering calls, providing information, and facilitating payments to caregivers, ensuring they receive compensation for their services. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in others' lives and can handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism. Responsibilities • Answer incoming calls from patients and caregivers with compassion and professionalism. , • Assist with enrollment, program applications, and setup in applicable systems. , • Retrieve information to assist caregivers with payroll-related inquiries. , • Utilize de-escalation techniques to support upset or frustrated callers. , • Offer guidance and directions to caregivers and patients to resolve issues effectively. , • Document information and outcomes as necessary. Requirements • At least one year of customer service experience. , • Strong computer skills and ability to offer troubleshooting advice. , • Ability to offer empathy, patience, and a friendly demeanor at all times. , • Ability to handle calls of a sensitive nature and de-escalate emotionally charged situations. , • Great active listening skills. , • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. , • Strong attention to detail. , • Ability to multitask and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment. , • Quality-focused mindset and desire to achieve first call resolution. , • Ability to accurately and confidently work with numbers and discuss money. Nice-to-haves • Experience in a healthcare-related customer service role. , • Familiarity with Medicaid programs.
