We are seeking a Private Funds Attorney on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote. What You’ll Do • Edit and create “how-to” type sophisticated practical guidance and annotated forms relevant to private funds and investment management practice Must Haves • Minimum 5 years of experience as an investment management attorney, including recent large law firm practice experience in private fund formation (private equity, hedge fund, venture capital), transactional matters, fund and investment adviser regulation/compliance • Recent and intimate knowledge of investment management market and regulatory trends, as well as familiarity with investment management attorney workflow • Excellent drafting, editing, legal analysis, and writing skills • Effective written communication skills • Ability to complete assigned projects by prescribed deadlines • Organized, self-motivated, and able to work in a detail-oriented environment Education • Law degree from an accredited law school and attorney registration in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar Hours & Location: • M-F, 30 hours/week. This role will be 100% remote.
