Job Summary: As a Warehouse Order Fulfillment Specialist at DHL, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. You will be responsible for picking, packing, and shipping orders while maintaining high standards of efficiency and accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Warehouse Specialist Key Responsibilities: • Order Picking and Packing:Utilize picking lists or RF scanners to accurately pick orders from shelves or bins.Pack orders securely and neatly according to company standards and shipping guidelines. • Inventory Management:Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records through regular cycle counting and stock checks.Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory to supervisors promptly. • Quality Control:Ensure all picked and packed orders meet quality standards and are free from damages or defects.Conduct visual inspections and follow quality assurance procedures as required. • Shipping and Receiving:Prepare shipments for courier pickups or delivery trucks.Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips, and report any discrepancies. • Safety and Compliance:Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.Follow company policies and procedures related to health, safety, and security. Skills and Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Proven experience in warehouse operations or order fulfillment preferred. • Ability to use RF scanners or other warehouse technology for order processing. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy packages as required. Working Conditions: • Fast-paced warehouse environment with regular exposure to moving machinery and loud noises. • Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
