Ethic is seeking a highly motivated GM, of our Family Office Client segment. This role will play a critical role in driving the client experience, strategy and operations for one of our most important client channels. The role requires a strategic leader with expertise in growth, sustainability, investments and operations. and the broad financial services landscape. What you’ll do: • Strategic Leadership: The GM is responsible for setting the strategic direction for the family office channel responsibility. This involves identifying growth opportunities, defining goals, solutioning and ensuring the execution internally and externally. • Operational Management: The GM oversees the day-to-day operations of the family office unit and ensures that teams internally are working efficiently and effectively. This includes driving key internal channel meetings and collaborating with key cross functional stakeholders to drive excellent client outcomes. • Customer Focus: The GM ensures that the business unit is meeting the needs of family offices across different users - executives, advisors and investment teams. • Performance Monitoring: The GM is responsible for tracking and analyzing key performance metrics to assess the health and progress of the client channel. They will use this data to drive forward planning and team design. • Cross-functional Collaboration: The GM collaborates with other senior leaders and departments within Ethic to ensure alignment and leverage synergies across the organization. This includes working with teams such as engineering, marketing, sales, and finance. • Innovation and Growth: The GM drives innovation within their area of responsibility, encouraging the development of new products, client service and sustainability. They stay ahead of industry trends and have a great understanding of Ethic’s competitive landscape. Who you are: • You prioritize building strong relationships, and enjoying the journey • You’re kind, curious, and interested in other people’s perspectives • You enjoy solving hard problems and learning from others along the way • You’re inventive and excited about building something new • You’re passionate about positively impacting the future of our planet and humanity What you’ll bring to the table: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. • 10+ years of experience in operations, strategy and sales. • Proven track record of successfully driving operational excellence within a financial services firm. • Strong understanding of and passion for sustainable investing principles. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a talent for storytelling. • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making. • Strong project management and organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Collaborative team player with the ability to build relationships across functions. Compensation & Benefits: Compensation at Ethic is a combination of base salary, equity (stock options) in the company, and benefits. The base salary for this role will range from $200,000 - $250,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition, this position is eligible for variable compensation tied to predetermined goals and key results.
