Patient Care Coordinator

This is a remote position.

Job Highlights Contract: Independent Contractor Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM Pacific Standard Time with an hour unpaid break ​

Scope

• Handle a few phone calls per day
• Manage a high volume of text messages, responding within 5 minutes
• Collaborate with a team of 14, including doctors, nurses, and health coaches
• Adapt to the company’s communication style, avoiding AI-sounding responses

​ Responsibilities

• Manage patient communications via texts, chats, phone calls, and emails
• Respond promptly to patient inquiries, ideally within five minutes
• Schedule appointments and assist with basic patient requests
• Provide information about weight loss programs and medications
• Maintain a personable and empathetic communication style
• Follow up on patient concerns and escalate issues when necessary
• Assist with administrative tasks related to patient care
• Utilize communication tools such as Slack, Charm, and Zoho

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Fast learner with strong follow-through capabilities
• Ability to type quickly and accurately
• Proficiency in using communication tools such as Slack, Charm, and Zoho
• Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail
• Customer service experience preferred
• Basic understanding of medical terminology related to weight loss (training provided)
• Reliable internet connection and quiet work environment
