Who We're Looking For

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineerwith deep experience in AWS to join a high-impact, fast-paced team focused on delivering large-scale, serverless systems. You’ll work exclusively on the backend—no frontend, just complex systems, high reliability, and real scalability. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in autonomous environments, has bold technical instincts, and enjoys owning end-to-end solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend infrastructure using AWS services, with a focus on serverless architecture
• Implement reliable and scalable systems to support high-volume traffic and mission-critical services
• Own backend features and projects from concept through deployment and monitoring
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and translate them into robust backend solutions
• Contribute to technical discussions, design reviews, and code reviews to ensure best practices are followed
• Maintain infrastructure-as-code using modern IaC tools and deploy consistently via CI/CD pipelines

Some Must-Haves:

• 6+ years of backend development experience, including large-scale production systems
• Deep hands-on expertise with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, S3, IAM, etc.)
• Experience with serverless frameworks and event-driven architecture
• Proficient in a backend programming language (e.g., Python, Node.js, or Go)
• Familiarity with AWS Connect and/or AWS AI/ML services is a strong plus
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently and own technical outcomes
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, agile environments with minimal supervision

The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required.
