PR Account Executive (Entretenimiento & Streaming)

At Edelman Mexico, we’re looking for a passionate and driven Account Executive with a strong interest in entertainment, streaming platforms, and cultural trends to join our Brand Communications team.

We’re seeking a proactive, organized communicator with excellent writing skills and media relations experience, particularly in the entertainment and digital content sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of accounts in the entertainment and streaming industry.
  • Draft and adapt press releases, Q&As, media alerts, and key messages.
  • Build and maintain targeted media lists focused on entertainment, pop culture, and lifestyle.
  • Coordinate and follow up on public relations initiatives such as interviews, junkets, premieres, and content launches.
  • Monitor media and digital channels for mentions, trends, and editorial opportunities.
  • Prepare results reports, media coverage analyses, and client presentations.
  • Support the development of spokesperson materials and media outreach plans.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure timely and effective campaign execution.

    • Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in communications, PR agencies, or media, preferably working with entertainment, cultural, or streaming clients.
  • Strong knowledge of the Mexican and Latin American media landscape, especially in entertainment, lifestyle, and digital culture.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience with event coordination, integrated campaigns, and talent/media relations is a plus.
