Overview: We are seeking a licensed Telehealth Nurse based in New York to evaluate patient conditions and write letters of medical necessity. This is a contract, remote, asynchronous position offering flexible work hours and compensation based on output.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Evaluations: Conduct thorough assessments of patient conditions via telehealth consultations, ensuring a comprehensive review of medical history and current symptoms.

• Documentation: Prepare detailed, accurate letters of medical necessity based on patient evaluations, ensuring compliance with relevant state and insurance requirements.

• Collaboration: Work independently while maintaining clear communication with the broader healthcare team, as needed, to ensure high-quality patient care and proper documentation.

• Compliance: Ensure all evaluations and documentation adhere to New York state regulations and best practices, maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Must reside in New York State.

• Current and valid New York nursing license.

• Proven experience in telehealth or remote patient evaluation preferred.

• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently in an asynchronous work environment.

Compensation: This is a flexible, contract-based role where payment is based on output. You will be paid $10 per letter of medical necessity written, with flexible working hours based on your availability.
