About the Role: This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-growing company as a lead data scientist and engineer. You will be taking end-to-end ownership of creating our core internal data platform and first predictive models from the ground up. You will be responsible for everything from data engineering and API integration to creating insightful dashboards and developing predictive machine learning models. You will act as your own project manager, working directly with company leadership to define the roadmap and deliver results that will have an immediate impact on the business. What You'll Do:

• Architect and Build Data Pipelines: Design and construct the company's primary data infrastructure. You will write code to migrate existing data and build a robust, scalable pipeline to ingest live data.
• Develop and Own Analytics Dashboards: Translate business questions into powerful, interactive dashboards. You will be responsible for the BI lifecycle, from data modeling in the warehouse to building and maintaining visualizations in a tool like Tableau or Power BI that will be used by the entire company.
• Build and Deploy Predictive Models: Apply your machine learning expertise to develop, train, and validate models.
• Define and Execute the Project Roadmap: Act as the project lead. You will define the project plan, set milestones, manage timelines, and proactively communicate progress, risks, and issues to company leadership.
• Collaborate and Drive Strategy: Work directly with the CEO and other key stakeholders to understand business needs, provide data-driven insights, and ensure your work directly contributes to strategic company objectives.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of professional experience with a proven track record of leading and delivering entire data projects from initial data ingestion to final ML model deployment.
• Expert proficiency in Python for data manipulation, scripting, and API integration.
• Advanced SQL for complex transformations, data modeling, and analysis.
• Experience building and managing ETL/ELT pipelines and integrating with third-party REST APIs.
• Experience with cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and relational databases.
• Demonstrable experience creating insightful and interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau, PowerBI, Looker or similar platforms.
• Strong practical experience in building, training, and validating predictive models (e.g., time-series forecasting, regression).
• Proficiency with core ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy).
• You must be a highly motivated self-starter who thrives on ambiguity. You are comfortable taking a high-level goal, creating a detailed execution plan, and delivering results with minimal supervision.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts and project status to non-technical business leaders.
