Tax Accountant
This is a remote position.
Tax AccountantThe Tax Accountant will play a critical role as a member of the tax team to deliver our tax engagements.
- Prepare tax projects
- Tax projects include income tax return preparation (1040, 1065, 1120S, 1120, 990, 1041), tax projections and plans, income tax notices, and tax consulting projects
- Self-manage and prioritize tax assignments within Practice CS. Also, work with tax manager and project manager to identify priorities.
- Communicate with clients regarding tax assignments; including requesting documentation, following up on client questions.
- Save client communication and answers in workpapers and/or Filecabinet CS, as needed to enable review
- Meet tax engagement objectives (work quality, timeframes, hourly budgets, outcomes)
Microsoft Office Apps, especially Excel, QuickBooks Online, UltraTax CS and Thomson Reuters suite of software (Filecabinet, Practice CS, Planner CS), Slack, Liscio, Zoom
