We're seeking a highly skilled and diverse individual to drive success in our Development Notices Group. As a key player, you'll design and develop features, improve product experiences through A/B testing, and own the development of experiences that delight our users. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, data science, consumer insights, and engineering to deliver exceptional results.

Your expertise will focus on building features, improving product experiences, and enabling item experiences by collaborating with Android, iOS, Site, and TV UI engineers. You'll also develop item experiences using email as a medium, leveraging our existing in-house email structures. Additionally, you'll work with engineers on various backend systems, from core enrollment services to infrastructure, personalization, and content management teams.

Required Skills:

• Experience in creating customer-facing applications using experimentation strategies like A/B Testing
• Proficiency in Java or other object-oriented languages
• Related experience in JavaScript or possibly Typescript
• Front-end web development experience (CSS, Sass/LESS, one current JS framework)
• Experience writing SQL queries on large data platforms (SparkSQL, Voila, Hive, etc.)
• Designing intuitive and extensible APIs
• Creating reusable, templated systems

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience building backend systems to power frontend experiences
• Experience working with product development teams
• Experience building streams using various channels like Push, SMS, messaging apps, and In-Product messaging experiences
• Experience with restriction systems and ICU formatting
• Experience in creating Responsive and Interactive HTML or possibly AMP Email Development experience
• Experience in building large-scale, highly scalable gRPC services
