QC Lead
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the manual testing efforts for multiple projects across the organization.
- Develop, review, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Coordinate testing activities with cross-functional teams including development, business analysts, and product managers.
- Ensure all testing activities are carried out as per the defined quality process.
- Track and manage defects, ensuring their resolution before release.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA team members.
- Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant QA metrics to stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and standards.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in manual software testing with at least 2 years in a lead role.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Expertise in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA or similar platforms.
- Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- ISTQB Certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Experience in testing APIs, databases, and mobile applications is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
