We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Vocational Nursing On Ground Instructor to join our team at Platt College Los Angeles. As an instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction to students in our Vocational Nursing program, maintaining an organized and disciplined classroom environment, and imparting the requirements of the relevant workplace setting to existing students.

Responsibilities:
* Provide quality instruction to students that meet program and course objectives
* Maintain an organized, disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning
* Impart the requirements of the relevant workplace setting to existing students
* Understand the needs of adult learners and provide a positive and effective learning environment
* Motivate, dedicate, and demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching
Requirements:
* Associate's degree or higher in a related area of study (ACCSC)
* 5 years of healthcare-related professional experience, including a minimum of 2 years as a RN or VN within the last 5 years
* Current CA license as RN or VN
* Completion of a course offered by an approved program to certify competency in teaching adult learners
* One or more of the following:
+ Baccalaureate degree from an accredited school
+ Valid Teaching Credential
+ Completion of 1 year full-time teaching experience in a state-accredited or approved RN, VN program within the last 5 years
+ Meets CA community college or state university teaching requirements
