Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Software Quality Engineer to help us deliver exceptional customer experiences through our products and services. The successful candidate will have a strong background in software quality engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. As a Software Quality Engineer at Apple, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing testing strategies, creating test plans, and building tools and test frameworks to ensure the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement testing strategies to ensure the highest quality standards
• Create test plans, build tools, and test frameworks to test the limits and edge cases of our products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and management
• Develop and automate tests in Python, Swift, or similar languages, focusing on both UI and lower-level testing
• Lead a total functional area of an application or product, demonstrating strong technical expertise and leadership skills
• Drive multi-functional communications, understanding priorities while maintaining a tight schedule
• Investigate, analyze, and troubleshoot issues, using decisive thinking to prioritize bugs

Requirements:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent degree/experience
• Strong understanding of development lifecycles, testing strategies, and QA processes
• Proven experience in creating test plans, building tools, and test frameworks
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Swift, or similar
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to think creatively
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
