Senior Business Analyst (Remote) - Unlock Your Potential

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in interacting with business units and other Systems area personnel to design, develop, and implement IT solutions that effectively support our clients. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business units and Systems area personnel to document requirements and design IT solutions within an Agile environment.
• Perform solution analysis, technical discovery, solution design, development, and implementation to support business needs.
• Partner with functional groups to clarify and document business requirements, use cases, and business rules.
• Ensure clear and complete project requirements to deliver continuous business value.
• Build partnerships with business and technical representatives to create a team atmosphere and solve problems.
• Conduct structured interviews, create workflow diagrams, and perform gap analyses to identify areas for improvement.
• Negotiate with business partners to identify phased approaches to attaining desired future states.
• Document findings, formulate alternatives, and finalize recommendations.
• Mentor team members, assist in cross-training, and improve technical skills.

Requirements:

• At least 8 years of applicable business/solution analysis experience.
• PC desktop software skills, including MS Office Product Suite and Visio.
• Skilled in writing SQL queries.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with emphasis on pro-active brainstorming and debating dialogues.
• Experience with interviewing, researching, and documenting findings.
• High energy, positive thinking, and an assertive personality.
• Strong leadership skills and knowledge of data mapping.
• Agile experience and understanding of how technology can enhance the business environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Life Insurance applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Ability to read XML and JSON data models.
• ACORD and Web Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) experience.
