You will be responsible for creating accurate written versions of audio and video recordings, reviewing and editing transcriptions, and identifying inconsistencies. Key Responsibilities

• Understand client specifications and formatting requirements to deliver high-quality transcriptions
• Complete transcriptions in a timely manner, reviewing drafts for errors and inconsistencies
• Adhere to confidentiality guidelines and respect sensitive information
• Communicate effectively with clients and supervisors to resolve issues and deliver exceptional service
• Stay up-to-date with transcription software updates and attend refresher workshops as required
• Submit completed drafts to clients and incorporate feedback to ensure accuracy and quality
• Maintain typing skills through regular practice and drills

Requirements

• High school diploma required; degree, associate's degree, or additional courses preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office, Express Scribe, and other transcription software
• Excellent typing speed and reading skills
• High degree of professionalism, work ethic, and attention to detail
• Ability to focus for long periods and work independently
• Willingness to work overtime as required
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if applicable)
