Sr. Data Scientist – CVS Media Exchange

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Data Scientist to join our CVS Media Exchange team. As a Sr. Data Scientist, you will play a key role in driving business growth and improvement by leveraging advanced analytics, experimentation, causal inference, and strategic problem-solving to develop digitally enabled products at CVS Health.

You will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, developing predictive models, and creating data visualizations to inform business decisions and drive growth.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, statistics, and machine learning, with experience working with large datasets and developing predictive models. You will be a collaborative team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering results-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and apply advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical techniques to drive business growth and improvement
• Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and develop predictive models to inform business decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement experiments, and analyze results to drive business outcomes
• Communicate complex data insights and recommendations to business stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and growth

Requirements

• Master's degree or equivalent work experience in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience applying modern machine learning methods to build predictive models for classification and regression problems
• 3+ years of experience using Python and SQL
• 2+ years of experience extracting meaningful insights from data analysis and interpreting results of complex models to present to business audiences
• 2+ years of experience preparing data for analysis, working with data engineering team to create modeling dataset, evaluate data quality, and perform feature engineering

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing online experiments (A/B testing)
• Strong ability to communicate technical concepts and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work effectively and confidently with cross-functional teams, project stakeholders, and senior management
• Ability to anticipate and prevent problems and roadblocks before they occur
