PHP Developer Inter

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic PHP Developer Intern to join our development team. Responsibilities

• Write, test, and maintain clean and efficient PHP code

• Assist in the development and maintenance of web applications and backend systems

• Integrate third-party APIs and web services

• Work with databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) to build and optimize queries

• Collaborate with designers, developers, and other team members

• Troubleshoot and debug existing codebases

• Document technical and functional components of applications

Requirements

• Solid understanding of PHP and basic programming principles

• Familiarity with at least one PHP framework (e.g., Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony) is a plus

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic web development concepts

• Experience working with MySQL or other relational databases

• Familiarity with Git or other version control tools

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

• Good problem-solving and communication skills

• Eagerness to learn and adapt quickly

Nice to Have

• Experience with RESTful APIs

• Basic understanding of MVC architecture

• Exposure to CMS platforms like WordPress or Drupal

• Knowledge of security best practices in web development
