JOB SUMMARY

In this role, the candidate will be expected to do the following:

• Analyze real world data pertaining to Mission Defense
• Collect and interpret real world data
• Develop new algorithms to effectively utilize the data
• Actively update current algorithms based on new data

The successful Systems Analyst will also be responsible for the following: 

• Assist with planning, scheduling and development of verification analysis tools 
• Coordinate, develop and maintain analysis and test tracking tools 
• Ensure proper backup/archiving of test products and analysis datasets 
• Work under general direction with self-motivation

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Working or theoretical knowledge of ballistic or non-ballistic missile defense concepts, Battle Management and Command and Control (BM/C2) systems, defense communication systems, the Missile Defense Systems (MDS) in general 
• Strong background in math and physics including probability and statistics
• Experience using Python and MATLAB to support analysis of complex data including the use of software test and analysis tools
• Development and automation of data management processes and tools experience
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux, and continuous integration including Bash or similar scripting experience
• Knowledge of one or more MDS elements, (e.g. C2BMC, AN/TPY-2, LRDR, BOA, SBIRS, GMD, and PATRIOT) 
• Experience with using and maintaining databases 
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills

EDUCATION: Either a technical advanced degree and 3+ years’ experience or a technical bachelors with 5+ years’ experience or equivalent. Technical degree in math, physics, engineering, data analysis, or any related technical background is accepted. 

LOCATION: Full Time/ On-Site in Colorado Springs, CO

SALARY RANGE: $100,000 - $122,000

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.
