THE ROLE: Merchandise Planning Manager As a Planning Manager, you’ll play a critical role in driving sales, profitability, and inventory efficiency across assigned business units. You’ll partner closely with the Buying team to plan assortments, manage inventory, and support strategic initiatives that deliver on our financial goals and guest promise. Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning • Partner with the Planning Director and VP of Purchasing to support key growth areas. • Create inventory, margin, and SKU count plans at the department/location level. • Build and maintain strong relationships with Product and Buying teams. • Plan for new stores, remodels, exhibits, and events. • Align inventory strategies with financial targets. Operational & Analytical • Lead monthly Open-to-Buy (OTB) reforecasts. • Perform deep-dive analysis on sales trends, product performance, and inventory metrics. • Deliver clear, actionable insights to internal partners. • Collaborate on SKU rationalization and assortment planning. • Prepare month-end reporting and drive inventory-related strategies. • Support ad-hoc reporting and cross-functional initiatives. What You Bring • 3+ years’ experience in merchandise planning or inventory management. • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Economics, Finance, Marketing). • Advanced Excel and data interpretation skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated. • Experience influencing cross-functional partners and driving results. Physical Requirements • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods. • Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Why Join Us?
