Lead Knowledge Management (DRG Coding) (m/w/d)
DAMEDIC is seeking a Lead Knowledge Management professional to ensure medical expertise remains a competitive advantage and bridge the gap between medical excellence and AI-supported coding. This role involves leading a team of medical annotators, developing knowledge and data structures for algorithmic coding, and reconciling medical know-how with technical innovation to optimize DRG coding processes.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of the DRG system, including ICD, OPS, coding guidelines, and MD processes
- Completed studies / vocational training in human medicine or comparable qualification in the healthcare sector
- Experience in a hospital or medical controlling
- Interest in technological innovation and initial experience with AI / LLM tools
- Structured working method, analytical thinking, and the ability to systematically process medical knowledge
- Communication skills in interdisciplinary contexts as well as joy in professional team leadership
- Owner mentality, initiative and the ability to prioritize under time pressure and resource constraints
- Very good German language skills in word and writing
