About the Role
We are looking for a part-time DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support our growing technical team. This role focuses on automation, infrastructure management, and ensuring system reliability during non-working hours in Bali time (GMT+8), making it ideal for candidates based in time zones west of Indonesia.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain robust infrastructure to ensure system reliability and performance
- Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
- Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to provision and manage infrastructure
- Analyze and optimize system performance and resolve bottlenecks
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to embed reliability into development workflows
- Provide production support and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Drive continuous improvements in system efficiency and developer productivity
- 3–5 years of experience in DevOps/SRE roles, ideally supporting high-traffic web or SaaS platforms
- Strong Linux/Unix system administration and networking skills
- Hands-on experience with AWS services
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS ECS
- Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Proficient with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
- Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
- Solid programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js), Python, or Go
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator
- Backend development experience with RESTful APIs or real-time services
