Job Summary As a Flight Attendant Trainee with American Airlines, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and comfort of our passengers. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling emergency situations, and working collaboratively with our team to deliver an outstanding travel experience. This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to safety, customer service, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the flight. Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections of the aircraft cabin, ensuring that all safety and emergency equipment is in working order. Demonstrate knowledge of aircraft systems, safety procedures, and emergency protocols. Handle emergency situations, such as evacuations, medical emergencies, and severe weather conditions. Work collaboratively with other crew members to ensure a smooth and safe flight. Communicate effectively with passengers, colleagues, and management. Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to company policies and procedures. Participate in recurrent training and professional development to maintain and enhance skills. Requirements and Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Level and weight must be within the limits specified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for the safe operation of the aircraft. Pass a pre-employment drug test and a TSA required fingerprint-based criminal history records check and personal investigation. Possess a valid U.S. or foreign passport with applicable visas. Have the legal right to work in the United States and the ability to travel to/from all states and countries served by American Airlines. Willingness to relocate based on the company's operational needs, if applicable. Ability to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to be on standby and available to report for duty in your assigned base (save duty).
