  • Apply accepted economic and accounting methodologies, including "but‑for" analyses and alternative damage theories where appropriate.
  • Review financial statements, tax returns, general ledger data, and other accounting records to assess reliability and relevance to the matter.
  • Prepare clear, well‑documented schedules and analyses suitable for use in reports, mediation, deposition, or trial.
  • Manage valuation engagements for closely held businesses in litigation and marital dissolution contexts.
  • Assist with normalization adjustments, reasonable compensation analyses, and income determination for family law matters.
  • Assist in the preparation of expert reports, rebuttal reports, affidavits, and supporting exhibits.
  • Ensure analyses and workpapers are complete, well‑organized, and capable of withstanding scrutiny in deposition or trial.
  • Coordinate document support for expert testimony, including schedules, demonstratives, and financial summaries.
  • Supervise, coach, and review the work of associates and senior associates on litigation support and valuation engagements.
  • Provide technical guidance on damages methodologies, valuation concepts, and documentation standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in litigation support, forensic accounting, valuation, or dispute‑related advisory services.
  • Strong understanding of economic damages concepts, business valuation principles, and financial analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience managing engagements and supervising staff.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non‑financial audiences.
  • CPA required
  • Experience with marital dissolution and family law engagements.
  • Prior experience supporting expert testimony, depositions, or trial proceedings.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with valuation and litigation support software a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements under tight deadlines
  • Client‑service mindset within an expert services framework
