Job Summary
We're looking for a talented Android Engineer to join our team, where you'll be responsible for designing and developing high-quality, consumer-grade mobile applications for Android. As a key member of our Local Designing group, you'll work closely with our Product Management, Design, and AI Research teams to drive the development of our AI-powered products, including Copilot. Responsibilities
As an Android Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
* Designing and developing high-quality, consumer-grade mobile applications for Android
* Building and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure code
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and AI researchers, to drive the development of our AI-powered products
* Working in a fast-paced, agile development cycle to deliver high-quality products quickly and iteratively
* Encapsulating our company culture and values in all aspects of your work
* Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in mobile development and AI
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, and 4+ years of experience in designing and developing mobile applications for Android
* Strong knowledge of Android development, including experience with Kotlin, Objective-C, or Java
* Familiarity with mobile application engineering, design patterns, and UI/UX standards
* Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams
* A passion for learning new technologies and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:
* A Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, and 10+ years of experience in designing and developing mobile applications for Android
* Experience with open-source projects and contributing to the Android community
* Experience building iOS applications from scratch
* A strong track record of delivering high-quality products quickly and iteratively
* A proven ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a positive, inclusive workplace culture
