[Remote] Case Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Experior Financial Group Inc. is seeking a motivated Case Manager who thrives both independently and as part of a team. The role involves managing cases between carriers and agents, providing consultancy services, and ensuring all underwriting requirements are fulfilled.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with the sales team, supporting them in processing client applications
• Manage cases between carriers and agents to ensure all underwriting requirements are fulfilled. This involves meticulously reviewing client applications to confirm that they are complete for the underwriting process
• Provide case consultancy services to the agents
• Liaise with carrier contacts regarding pending cases
• Flag product suitability and review variable rate illustrations
• Propose improvements to processes and technology
• Perform additional duties related to the New Business Department as assigned by the immediate manager

Skills

• 1-2 years of Case Management experience in the life insurance industry
• Previous experience working at an MGA will be given preference
• Basic understanding of life insurance products is a strong asset
• Basic understanding of the underwriting process
• Proficiency in French is an asset
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities -- Capable of managing tight deadlines and multiple priorities effectively
• Effective problem-solving and investigative skills
• Reliable, trustworthy, proactive, with a keen sense of ownership and initiative
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Approachable and professional in delivering suboptimal information via in-person, phone, and email interactions
• Strong computer skills with a capacity to learn new systems
• Ability to handle stressful situations with a positive, proactive attitude
• Positive demeanor with an openness to constructive feedback
• Must reside and be authorized to work in Canada
