Software Engineer II

CTG is seeking a Software Engineer II to support enterprise application development initiatives for our client. This is a hands-on role ideal for a mid-level engineer experienced in Archer and modern cloud-based development.

Location: Remote Duration: 6 months

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and enhance applications ranging from moderate to complex scope
• Serve as a core contributor on high-impact projects across the full SDLC
• Lead and coordinate development tasks for small to mid-sized project teams
• Perform systems analysis, debugging, testing, and performance optimization
• Develop technical specifications, documentation, and implementation plans
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders and IT
• Ensure application stability, scalability, and compliance with standards
• Recommend and implement process improvements and new technologies

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of application development and systems analysis experience
• 5+ years of Archer Development and Archer SaaS experience
• Hands-on experience with Azure Functions
• Strong understanding of SDLC, system integrations, and application architecture
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and meet deadlines
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in banking or financial services environments
• Advanced knowledge of integrated systems and enterprise platforms
• Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives

Education:

• Associate’s degree with 5+ years of experience, or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience (7+ years total, including 5+ years relevant experience)

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $46.64 - $77.74/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
