Sharepoint Developer
We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer on a 6–12 month contract to design, build, and enhance our company intranet using SharePoint Online within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. This role will be responsible for developing modern SharePoint solutions, improving internal collaboration, and implementing workflows and automations that streamline business processes across the organization.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in SharePoint Online development, intranet design, and Microsoft 365 automation tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, and related integration capabilities. They should be comfortable working with stakeholders to translate business requirements into practical, user-friendly solutions that improve communication, document management, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement a modern company intranet using SharePoint Online.
- Gather business requirements from internal stakeholders and translate them into functional SharePoint solutions.
- Build and customize SharePoint sites, pages, lists, libraries, navigation structures, and content architecture.
- Develop and optimize workflows and business process automations using Power Automate.
- Create forms and low-code business applications using Power Apps where required.
- Integrate SharePoint with other Microsoft 365 services such as Teams, OneDrive, Outlook, and Microsoft Lists.
- Ensure the intranet is intuitive, well-structured, secure, and aligned with business needs and governance standards.
- Implement document management, permissions models, metadata, search, and content management best practices.
- Support testing, deployment, user adoption, and knowledge transfer activities.
- Provide technical documentation, configuration documentation, and recommendations for ongoing platform improvement.
