This remote, work‑from‑home role is ideal for candidates who reside within 150 miles of Nashville, Tennessee, and who are seeking a flexible schedule that balances professional responsibilities with personal priorities.

As a CSR, you will be the first point of contact for members navigating their pharmacy benefit plans. You will handle inbound calls, answer questions about prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail‑order services, and guide members toward the best possible solutions for their health‑care needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Member Assistance: Respond to inbound calls with professionalism, empathy, and accuracy, addressing inquiries related to commercial plans, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and other specialized benefit programs.
  • Benefit Education: Explain complex pharmacy benefit concepts in clear, layman’s terms, helping members understand their coverage, cost‑sharing responsibilities, and available pharmacy options.
  • Problem Resolution: Diagnose issues, troubleshoot eligibility concerns, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve medication‑related problems promptly.
  • Documentation: Accurately capture call details, outcomes, and follow‑up actions in arenaflex’s CRM system, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and internal data‑security standards.
  • Continuous Learning: Participate in a comprehensive 6‑week virtual training program, including self‑paced modules, live instructor sessions, and hands‑on simulations to build expertise in PBM operations.
  • Flexibility Management: Adapt to fluctuating call volumes by adjusting scheduled hours as needed, while maintaining consistent service quality and adherence to performance metrics.
  • Team Collaboration: Share insights, best practices, and feedback with peers and supervisors to continuously improve the member experience.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer‑facing role (call center, retail, hospitality, or military service).
  • Proficiency with Windows‑based computer applications and the ability to quickly learn new software platforms.
  • Residency in Tennessee and location within a 150‑mile radius of Nashville.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated problem‑solving ability, especially in high‑stress or ambiguous situations.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, including courteous telephone etiquette and the capacity to convey empathy and confidence.
  • At least six months of experience in a health‑care environment, preferably within pharmacy benefits or insurance.
  • Ability to maintain composure, patience, and a positive attitude while assisting members with diverse needs.
  • Reliability in adhering to scheduled shifts and compliance with regulatory standards (HIPAA, state regulations).
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus.

Core Competencies for Success

  • Empathy & Compassion: Genuine concern for members’ well‑being and a desire to improve their health‑care journey.
  • Active Listening: Ability to hear, interpret, and respond to member concerns accurately.
  • Attention to Detail: Precise documentation and adherence to compliance protocols.
  • Adaptability: Comfort with shifting schedules, evolving business needs, and new technology tools.
  • Team Orientation: Collaborative mindset that values shared learning and collective success.
