[Remote] Senior Software Engineer

Madhive is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their engineering team, focusing on building and improving the systems that power their advertising platform.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain features across our frontend and backend systems, with a strong emphasis on clean, maintainable code
- Contribute to the design and implementation of UI components that give teams and clients strong visibility into system behavior and performance
- Support backend services with a focus on data accuracy, system reliability, and operational excellence
- Collaborate with teammates to enhance observability and monitoring through dashboards, alerts, and instrumentation
- Contribute to the design and implementation of ad-tech-scale data and ML solutions
- Write automated tests and contribute to ongoing improvements in tooling, coverage, and quality
- Participate in code reviews, share feedback, and help drive alignment on technical decisions
- Collaborate with product and engineering partners to scope work, refine requirements, and deliver features on time
Skills
- 5+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer working with modern frontend and backend technologies
- Background in adtech, including hands-on experience with ad serving, pixels, tracking, measurement, or related systems
- Solid backend development skills. We use Golang, but experience with any modern backend language is welcome
- Strong experience with React or a comparable frontend framework preferred
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Looker, OpenTelemetry, Centry, or New Relic
- A strong interest in data science/machine learning concepts, or hands-on experience with high-throughput, ad-tech scale data solutions
- Comfortable working with automated testing frameworks and contributing to an overall testing culture
- Strong communicator who works well with cross-functional teams and enjoys solving complex problems in a collaborative environment
- A thoughtful engineer who cares about reliability, usability, and building things the right way
