Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care by date of hire. Arkansas Licensed Respiratory Therapy Practitioner (LRCP) by date of hire. Must pass National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) RRT Credentialing Examination by date of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

Responsibilities

Performs routine respiratory care procedures including, but not limited to updrafts, metered dose inhalers (MDI), chest physiotherapy (CPT), arterial blood gases (ABG), incentive spirometry, intrapulmonary percussive ventilation (IPV), patient education, mechanical ventilator setup and management. Assists in codes and rapid responses. Enters patient treatment notes in e-chart system and/or places documentation in patient charts Calls for, or physically moves, equipment and medical supplies needed into the assigned work areas Interacts with, and assists, the public in a professional and friendly manner as needed. Demonstrates effective communication skills; communicates accurate and complete information; maintains strict confidentiality reputed company necessary.
