Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Customer Engagement Manager to join our growing team at arenaflex. Reporting directly to senior leadership within the Customer Experience division, this role is responsible for designing, executing, and continuously refining engagement strategies that drive satisfaction, loyalty, and advocacy across all customer touchpoints.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of leading a high-performing team while also rolling up their sleeves to deliver results. You will collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, Operations, and external partners to ensure that arenaflex remains a leader in customer engagement best practices. This is a high-impact role that requires both creativity and analytical rigor, and it offers the opportunity to shape the customer experience strategy for one of the most beloved and iconic brands in the world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Customer Engagement Team: Manage, inspire, and develop a team of customer engagement specialists, ensuring each team member is equipped to deliver exceptional service and memorable experiences.
  • Develop and Execute Engagement Strategies: Design and implement comprehensive customer engagement strategies that increase satisfaction, retention, and lifetime value.
  • Build Lasting Customer Relationships: Cultivate deep, trust-based relationships with customers, identifying opportunities to enhance their overall journey with arenaflex.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Operations teams to ensure a unified, seamless, and cohesive customer experience across every channel.
  • Training and Mentorship: Develop and deliver training programs that elevate the team's customer service capabilities, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Voice of the Customer: Monitor, analyze, and act on customer feedback, surveys, reviews, and data insights to identify pain points and implement impactful solutions.
  • Industry Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in customer engagement, bringing innovative ideas to arenaflex.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, partners, and community organizations that enhance the customer experience.
  • Innovative Initiatives: Conceptualize, pitch, and execute creative programs, events, and promotions that elevate the brand and deepen customer connection.
  • Event and Promotion Oversight: Lead the planning and execution of customer-facing events, activations, and promotional campaigns that bring the arenaflex brand to life.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Track, measure, and report on customer engagement KPIs, using data-driven insights to inform decisions and demonstrate impact.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and pursue opportunities to refine processes, tools, and touchpoints that enhance the customer journey.
  • Brand Representation: Serve as a professional ambassador for arenafflex, upholding the brand's image and values in every interaction.
  • Customer Acquisition and Retention: Work closely with Marketing and Sales to develop strategies that attract new customers while deepening engagement with existing ones.
  • Cultivate Team Culture: Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment where team members feel valued, supported, and empowered to thrive.

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience: A minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in customer engagement, customer experience management, account management, or a related field.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated success leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to design and execute engagement strategies that drive measurable results.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical Acumen: Strong data analysis skills and experience using customer feedback, NPS scores, and engagement metrics to drive decisions.
  • Relationship Building: A natural ability to build trust and rapport with customers, team members, and cross-functional partners.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver on tight deadlines.
  • Brand Stewardship: A deep understanding of how to represent and protect a premium brand's reputation in every customer interaction.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field (Master's degree a plus).
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization with multiple customer segments.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zendesk) and customer engagement tools.
  • Background in event planning, experiential marketing, or brand activations.
  • Multilingual capabilities are a plus, reflecting arenaflex's global customer base.
