About This Exciting Remote Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Remote Customer Retention Sales Specialist to join our award-winning team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a customer champion and problem solver, working with customers who have requested cancellation of their security services. Your mission will be to transform potential cancellations into lasting customer relationships through expert consultation, empathetic communication, and strategic solution-building.

As a Retention Specialist, you will handle a high volume of incoming calls from valued customers, acting as a trusted advisor who proactively identifies opportunities, addresses concerns, and recommends long-term solutions that align with each customer's unique needs. The ideal candidate combines customer service excellence with consultative sales skills, creating win-win outcomes that increase brand loyalty and drive organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers requesting service cancellation, delivering award-winning customer experiences that build lasting loyalty and retention.
  • Consultative Problem Solving: Utilize exceptional active listening skills to uncover underlying customer concerns, asking the right questions to identify root issues and craft tailored solutions.
  • Strategic Sales Conversations: Leverage proven sales techniques to re-sell customers on the value of arenaflex services, identifying upsell opportunities while genuinely addressing customer needs and reducing frustration.
  • De-escalation Excellence: Demonstrate exceptional empathy, compassion, and professionalism when handling escalated calls, focusing on resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Multi-Tasking Mastery: Navigate multiple systems and tools simultaneously (10+ platforms) to negotiate rates, process billing credits, schedule service appointments, recommend additional equipment, and resolve complex customer issues.
  • Performance Excellence: Consistently meet and exceed retention and sales targets through continuous skill development, performance improvement, and strategic customer engagement.
  • Knowledge Maintenance: Stay current on arenaflex products, services, policies, competitive landscape, wireless industry trends, and emerging security technologies to provide expert-level customer guidance.
  • First-Contact Resolution: Resolve customer concerns accurately and completely during initial interactions, minimizing the need for repeat calls or escalations.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

Experience

  • Minimum 2+ years of demonstrated success in a sales role where you were required to sell or save customers, with measurable performance tied to outcomes.
  • Minimum 2+ years of call center customer service and/or sales experience in a high-volume environment.
  • Proven track record in customer retention, loyalty building, and consultative selling.

Education

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • College degree, some college coursework, or equivalent professional experience preferred.

Technical Requirements for Remote Work

  • Private, distraction-free home workspace free from interruptions.
  • High-speed internet service via DSL, Cable, or Fiber with minimum speeds of 25 Mbps download and 15 Mbps upload.
  • Ability to hardwire your PC via ethernet cable directly to your modem (wireless connections including 5G Home Internet and Fixed Wireless are not accepted).
  • Reliable computer equipment capable of running multiple applications simultaneously.

Our structured training program includes daily support from dedicated onboarding teams and is specifically designed to transform you into an arenaflex expert. Following successful completion of training, you will transition to our remote work environment with ongoing development opportunities. Work Schedule and Work-Life Balance

Our department operates Monday through Friday and is closed on weekends and most major holidays, allowing our valued team members to enjoy every weekend off. Compensation and Comprehensive Benefits Package

Hourly Compensation

  • Starting rate of $18.00 per hour
  • Progressive increases of $0.50 every 30 days
  • Reaching $21.00 per hour after 180 days of employment
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities for exceeding sales targets
