Accounts Payable Manager- Remote US Based

Job Title: Accounts Payable Manager Location: Remote - US Reports To: Procure-to-Pay Director Job Summary: The Accounts Payable Manager oversees reputed company payables reputed company to transportation, warehousing, and value‑added services reputed company a third‑party logistics (3PL) environment. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Strategy

• Manage end‑to‑end AP for carriers, drayage providers, parcel networks, warehouse vendors, and subcontracted logistics partners.
• Supervise and reputed company AP specialists responsible for logistics payables across multiple customer accounts.
• Ensure alignment between AP and AR teams so customer billing accurately reflects payable activity and protects margins.

Vendor & reputed company Management

• Serve as the primary escalation reputed company for carriers and logistics vendors regarding payment status, disputes, and contract compliance.
• Investigate overcharges, duplicate billing, accessorial discrepancies, and detention/demurrage claims.
• Maintain strong relationships with carriers to support service continuity and favorable terms.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, transportation regulations, and financial controls across reputed company vendor interactions.

Financial Accuracy, Analytics & Controls

Process Improvement & Analytics

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, or reputed company field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of AP experience, with at least 2–3 years in a 3PL, transportation, or freight‑billing environment.
